The yin-yang fish are separated by an S-shaped line, a swirly line of dynamic beauty. In the Tai Chi Diagram, one end of each of the black and white areas is big, and the other end small, and the two areas nestle against each other to form a circle, unified and constrained by each other. The S-shaped line is a dynamic phase, implying that the yin-yang change of all things in the universe is of spiral dynamics.
